Cipralex vs. Duloxetine

Cipralex treatment demonstrates superior efficacy to duloxetine in the treatment of acute major depressive disorder.

 

Cipralex demonstrated significantly better efficacy in acute treatment then duloxetine as well as being at least as efficacious in long-term treatment of major depressive disorder (Ref. 1)

Cipralex treatment resulted in significantly superior response rates compared to duloxetine, suggesting that cipralex yields greater response and remission rates than SNRI's (Ref. 2).
